Hiking the Yakutania Point Trail to Yakutania Point from the cruise ship terminal in Skagway, Alaska is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the region.

The trail is relatively easy and takes around 1.5 hours to complete, covering a distance of 1-2 miles round trip. To get to the trailhead, you can walk west along 1st Ave., turn left at Main St. and travel south two blocks. Follow the sidewalk west past the airport terminal and then onto the beautiful Skagway footbridge.

Once across the footbridge, turn left and follow the trail toward Lynn Canal where it descends rock steps. The trail ends a Yakutania Point and offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the Lynn Canal.
