The Targeted Offer
This offer is for an additional 3X miles for every one dollar spent on the AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard in the following categories: grocery, drug stores, and restaurants.
The card normally earns 1X in these categories, so with 3X additional miles, this card will effectively net you 4X on spending in the above categories.
Enrollment Is Required
Check your email to see if you were targeted for the 4X total spending offer.
You must enroll by 5/15/2022 and all eligible spending must be completed between 4/1/2022 and 6/30/2022.
The maximum additional miles you can earn is capped at 3,600 miles – which means you can earn 4X in the eligible categories on $1,200 in spending.
Doing so would net you 4,800 miles total.

While this spending offer is nowhere near as good as last year’s spending offer on the Barclays Hawaiian Airlines credit card, I believe it’s still an easy and worthwhile way to rack up some easy AAdvantage points (which can otherwise be stubbornly elusive).
With inflation in full-swing, I’d venture to guess hitting the $1,200 spending mark and earning the 4,800 total miles will be doable for most through 3 months worth of spending on groceries.
