24 hours in Thandwe was nowhere near enough time.
We were completely bummed we couldn’t stay longer at the paradise that was Ngapali beach, but alas – it was not meant to be.
Our travels would next take us to Yangon, where we’d arrive at the largest city in Myanmar by flying Myanmar National Airlines.

Check-in and boarding were both completed by the airline very quickly.
The flight itself was surprisingly only about 1/2 full. The plane of choice was the ATR-72, the workhorse of Myanmar aviation.

With little other air traffic, we were instantly cleared for departure – westward (over the ocean).

Myanmar National Airlines Safety Card And Meal Service
The meal service was comparable to everything else we’ve seen on ATR-72’s in Myanmar (Air KBZ and Golden Myanmar Airlines), namely a small box with a sandwich of sorts and a sweet pastry.
The flight to Yangon was about 50 minutes.

All-in-all, it was another quick and easy ATR-72 flight in Myanmar.
In many ways, Myanmar National Airlines was almost indistinguishable from the other airline carriers we’ve thus far flown, and that was a good thing.
