The lobby area of the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort is an inviting and stylish space. With its modern design, comfortable seating areas, and contemporary artwork, the lobby creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests upon arrival.

A large steel sculpture by Julian Voss-Andreae (of a person planting seeds) is the signature artwork of the hotel that welcomes guests in the valet area.

Dining Options

Dining options at the resort include the JW Market, offering a variety of grab-and-go options, and the aforementioned award-winning Tocca Ferro Italian Chophouse, as well as the Parkestry Rooftop Bar.

Breakfast At Tocca Ferro

For breakfast, guests can head to Tocca Ferro, the resort’s signature restaurant, where they can enjoy a delicious selection of dishes in a stylish and welcoming setting.

We opted to use our  Bonvoy Platinum breakfast benefit on two Elite Breakfast Buffets (the credit was $32 pr person).

The breakfast buffet was popular – and very, very  good. I went with Denver Omelette and a Blueberry Eclair, as well as all the side pastries and fixin’s one could order at the buffet.

FHOP Tip: What’s Nearby: In addition to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, guests can explore the Downtown Disney District, which offers a wide range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The Bottom-Line Review: JW Marriott Anaheim Resort (Orange County, California)

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Anaheim. The proximity of the hotel to Disneyland was a major advantage, allowing us to easily access the parks and maximize our time exploring the Disney parks.

The Deluxe Guestroom with 2 Queens provided us with a spacious and comfortable retreat. While the view of Disneyland was not-necessarily “breathtaking,” we did get a decent view of the nightly fireworks.

The breakfast buffet at Tocca Ferro restaurant was a highlight, offering a delightful selection of dishes in a stylish and welcoming setting, which was made even better by the fact it was complimentary thanks to our Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Status. Moreover, the overall service at the JW Marriott Anaheim was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist us with any inquiries or requests. From check-in to check-out, we felt well taken care of and valued as guests.

Somehow, JW Marriott Anaheim Resort was able to walk the fine line between a Disneyland area mega-resort and luxury hotel. The hotel was obviously heavily trafficked, and there were kids galore, but the resort never felt “grimy,” nor were there any real signs of wear and tear, just a clean and upscale resort experience.

With its luxurious accommodations, tranquil gardens, delicious dining options, proximity to Disneyland, and outstanding service and upkeep, we can easily rate the JW Marriott Anaheim high marks. The hotel exceeded our expectations and provided a memorable and enjoyable stay in Orange County, California. We highly recommend it to families on vacation, couples on staycations, large groups – really anyone seeking an upscale and convenient base for their Disneyland adventures or a relaxing getaway in the area.

Final Rating: 9 out of 10.
