Room Amenities

Room Condition

There were some mystery stains on the carpet, but nothing major (I’m assuming this was wine or Kool-Aid).

Bathroom

The bathroom includes free toiletries and a hairdryer. Kenet MD toiletry products are provided in each room. I personally find these products to be of “OK” quality and include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

Dining Options

For dining options, the hotel’s on-site restaurant, Gallery Kitchen, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are also many restaurants located nearby, including Landry’s Seafood House, Sunny’s Sushi, Steak, & Seafood, and Red Lobster.

Breakfast

The hotel’s free breakfast at the Gallery Kitchen restaurant includes a variety of options, such as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hot breakfast items.

I went with the eggs, bacon, and waffles and found them to be pretty good (especially the waffles).

FHOP Tip: What’s Nearby: There are many things to do nearby the hotel, including visiting the El Paso Zoo, the El Paso Museum of Art, and the El Paso Museum of History. The hotel is also located near the Fort Bliss military base and El Paso International Airport (ELP).

The Bottom-Line Review: Hyatt Place El Paso Airport (Texas)

Hyatt Place El Paso Airport is a modern hotel that offers many amenities and is conveniently located near the airport and many local attractions. The hotel was relatively new, clean, and reasonably priced.

The hotel’s spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and daily breakfast make it a great choice for travelers – especially for travelers staying on points. The hotel is perfect for travelers driving through El Paso, out of town family members, people with flight connections at ELP, and business travelers.

Final Rating: 7.5 out of 10.
