The standard perks of the FHR program include the following 6 benefits:

The Benefits Vary By Property

The “unique amenity” at Encore Las Vegas is a $150 spa and salon services credit. There’s also a $25 minibar welcome amenity (this must be used on the first night of stay).

Additionally, the “daily breakfast for two people” benefit is a $30 credit per person at Jardin or Tableau.

Review: Fine Hotels & Resorts – Encore Las Vegas (Encore Tower Suite King)

Encore Las Vegas is an all-suite resort located on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip, which shares its property footprint with its sister hotel Wynn Las Vegas. With 2,000+ suites, Encore offers some of the most spacious accommodations in the city, starting at 745 square feet and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, plush Wynn Dream Beds, and elegant marble bathrooms. The resort is known for its modern design and upscale atmosphere, appealing to guests who seek both luxury and tranquility. Room rates typically range from around $300 to $700 per night, depending on the season and suite type. Encore also boasts a strong culinary scene, with several standout dining venues including Jardin (known for its upscale brunch), Terrace Pointe Café (popular for casual daytime dining), Red 8 (Asian cuisine), and Tableau (American fare).

Room Upgrade

Through the Fine Hotels & Resorts program, we received a complimentary upgrade from an Encore Resort King to an Encore Tower Suite King—a “real” room upgrade. The Encore Tower Suite King also included a nightly turndown service and a more secluded location within the resort. Valued at approximately $100–$150 per night, this upgrade enhanced our comfort and added meaningful value to our overall stay – a perfect example of the value you can get by booking through FHR.

Wynn Platinum Dinner At Mizumi

As Wynn Platinum members, we took a side-quest apart from the FHR program, where we utilized our $150 birthday dinner credit at the exquisite Mizumi—a fine-dining Japanese restaurant tucked within the conjoined Wynn Las Vegas. We tried dishes like sushi omakase, robata platter, and somen noodles – each artfully presented and more importantly, absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, with staff who made us feel genuinely special, even surprising us with a birthday dessert. The credit covered a generous portion of our meal, making the evening feel like a luxurious gift rather than just a dinner. It was a perfect blend of elegance, flavor, and thoughtful hospitality.

Breakfast At Jardin

We used our $30 per person breakfast credit at one of our favorite Vegas breakfast spots – Jardin. As usual, the breakfast was excellent (and pricey). I went with one of my all-time favorites, the Lobster Benedict.

THE FHOP BOTTOM-LINE RATINGS: Fine Hotels & Resorts – Encore Las Vegas (Encore Tower Suite King)

The Bottom-Line Review: Review: Fine Hotels & Resorts – Encore Las Vegas (Encore Tower Suite King)

Our experience using American Express’s Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) program at Encore Las Vegas was overwhelmingly positive, earning a solid 9.0 rating. The standout benefit was the complimentary upgrade from an Encore Resort King to an Encore Tower Suite King, which legit elevated our stay. This upgrade, valued at around $100–$150 per night, added a tangible value and a sense of luxury to our trip. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The daily breakfast credit—up to $60 for two guests—was another highlight. We enjoyed using it at Jardin (one of our favorite Las Vegas brunch spots), however, it’s worth noting that the credit didn’t fully cover breakfast where prices can quickly exceed the allowance. Still, the flexibility to use the credit at multiple venues across Wynn and Encore was appreciated, and it allowed us to sample a variety of excellent breakfast options.

As for the additional FHR perks, the $150 spa credit was limited to treatments at the spa or salon, and couldn’t be applied toward food, retail purchases or gratuities. While I have used this credit on previous stays (on day passes to the spa), we didn’t use it this time and thus “lost” the $150 credit. Similarly, the **$25 minibar credit** was a nice touch but only applied to the first night of the stay and didn’t go far given the premium pricing of in-room items. Despite these minor limitations, the overall value and elevated experience provided by the FHR program made our Encore stay feel curated and luxurious. It’s a program we’ve used many times before at both the Wynn and Encore which we’d gladly use again.

Final Rating: 9 out of 10
