Effective October 1, 2019, PayPal will add some new (standard) “benefits” from Mastercard. These are really just discounts and software applications.
The “Bad” News:
Now, the “bad news”. And yes, it’s bad.

PayPal says Mastercard is discontinuing Purchase Assurance, Extended Warranty, Travel and Emergency Assistance Service, and Travel Accident Insurance.

The Bottom-Line: PayPal And Mastercard Gut The Benefits Of The PayPal Business Debit Mastercard
Well, with all the recent devaluations (like Citi and Amex), this isn’t really a huge surprise – especially because this is a rare Business Debit Card.
That said, this devaluation of “historically standard” benefits really hurts, and the added new “benefits” hardly makeup for the loss.
