The Athabasca Falls Trail:

Located about 32km south of the town of Jasper (in Jasper National Park), the Athabasca Falls Trail is an easy 1km out and back trail. The entrance lies just off the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93), on the 93A exit.

The Athabasca Falls Trail is extremely popular, as such, it has a decent size parking lot with bathrooms available.

Final Thoughts On The Athabasca Falls Trail:

I did the Athabasca Falls Trail as an early morning hike to avoid the large crowds. It was still quite crowded — and also foggy and brisk — making for some very moody pictures.

The Athabasca Falls Trail is an easy ‘must-do’ hike that’s literally a walk in the park.

Cheers!
