BankAmericard Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card Points Are Now Worth Twice As Much:

What Does This Mean?

Well, it looks like the BankAmericard Rewards Visa Signature credit card will still earn just 1x on all purchases, however, these points will now be worth twice as much when redeemed for cashback.

Put another way, Bank of America has just effectively made the BankAmericard Rewards Visa Signature credit card a 1% cashback card on all purchases (up from .5%).

The Bottom-Line: BankAmericard Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card Points Are Now Worth Twice As Much:

Unsurprisingly, this 1x-earning card has long laid dormant in my sock drawer. Truthfully, with just 1% cashback on all purchases, that’s unlikely to change.

Worse, rewards begin at 2,500 points and these points expire after 5 years (really BofA?). 1% cashback on a no-annual fee card is a small step in the right direction, but BofA has still got some major work to do if they want to make this card reasonably competitive.
