Every now and then, I hear rumors that American Express sends out “surprise gifts” to its members.
I’ve never received one of these surprise gifts…until now.
American Express Is Sending Out Surprise Gifts – What Did They Send Me? [Targeted Gift]
Completely out of the blue, I noticed the envelope [below] in my daily stack of mail.
When I opened it up, I pulled out the following card.
The Surprise Gift
So what did they send me? Well, when I opened the card, I saw the following.
My first thought? “Cool, but what is Johnny Was”?
Upon searching for Johnny Was online, I come to find out they are a women’s clothing store. Which is great [I guess] but it doesn’t really do me a whole lot of good.
But, I’m sure it will make a great gift.

Well, it’s cool that they are sending out surprise $100 gift cards – but I’m not sure why I was targeted for this one. In fact, I’m not even sure which of my American Express cards earned me this surprise gift.
Never-the-less, as the saying goes, you can’t look a gift horse in the mouth. $100 with no minimum purchase requirement? Sounds good, just not for me. Oh well, I’m sure it’ll find someone who can put it to good use.
