The Magic Plane was unveiled in 2013 as a collaboration between WestJet, WestJet Vacations and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Per the WestJet website, “…a custom-painted Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 series aircraft featuring Mickey Mouse in his most famous role, Sorcerer Mickey”.

The last sentence caught my eye as WestJet’s Magic Plane by Disney seems to serve a lot of cities, but not Los Angeles. I wonder if this was a one-off sighting or if they are putting Mickey on this route for the near future.

Either way, it’s cool when you can spot these special one-of-a-kind planes. I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
