As you probably already know, I’m a huge fan of the Chase World Of Hyatt credit card. I use it to earn free nights, elite status, and a ton of World Of Hyatt points.

So you can imagine, I was pretty happy to discover 2 additional “hidden benefits” of the Chase World Of Hyatt credit card.

2 Great “Hidden Benefits” Of The Chase World Of Hyatt Credit Card

Let me first start by saying I always use this card for my Hyatt and MLife stays. I value Hyatt points highly and this is the best way possible to rack them up.

That leads me to “hidden benefit” #1.

Hidden Benefit #1: Use The Chase World Of Hyatt Credit Card To Book Hyatt And MLife Properties Through The Luxury Hotels & Resort Collection To Maximize Points

One of my favorite travel-hacks of all is using the The Luxury Hotels & Resort Collection (LHRC) website to book hotels in Las Vegas. I have literally saved $1,000’s of dollars over the course of several years by using this benefit.

As a refresher, you need certain Chase cards to gain access to the LHRC website. The Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Business Cash, and the United MileagePlus Explorer card are some of the cards known to grant access to the LHRC program.

The Chase World Of Hyatt card DOES NOT GRANT ACCESS to the website or program, however IT CAN BE USED TO BOOK A RESERVATION on the LHRC website, and that means you can maximize Hyatt point earnings by using this card to book Hyatt and MLife properties through LHRC.

That brings me to the “hidden benefit” #2.

Hidden Benefit #2: Use The Chase World Of Hyatt Card At MLife Properties To [Always] Get Your Hyatt Points And Elite Night Credits

If you’ve read my posts about my love for using the LHRC program in Las Vegas, then you also probably know it can also be a major headache.

Why? Well, it seems about 50%+ of the time, MLife doesn’t automatically credit you Hyatt points or elite nights for your MLife stays (even if you ensure your Hyatt and MLife account numbers are attached to the reservation).

You can read all about this in my LHRC and MLife reviews here.

This usually means waiting 2 weeks to see if the points and elite night credits post, and when they don’t – having to call or email MLife to request elite night credits and Hyatt points for the stay.

MLife can make this a major headache, trust me.

Using the Chase World Of Hyatt card to pay for your stay (or the balance of your stay – like taxes and resort fees) ensures you’ll automatically get your Hyatt points and elite night credits for your MLife stays.

For as often as I “do” Las Vegas, this is a HUGE BENEFIT for me as far as I’m concerned.

The Bottom-Line: 2 Great “Hidden Benefits” Of The Chase World Of Hyatt Credit Card

These 2 “hidden benefits” are not published (nor widely known), but they are no-less major benefits to holding this card – especially if you stay at Las Vegas MLife properties or book Hyatt hotels through the LHRC program.

Cheers!
