Last week, I happened to be driving down the 15 freeway in Las Vegas when I saw what looked like a huge glowing carnival in the parking lot at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino.

When I got back to my hotel, I checked it out online; turns out this was the Global Winter Wonderland.

Visiting The Global Winter Wonderland (Las Vegas, NV)

The Global Winter Wonderland is one part carnival, one part show performances, and one part awesome light show (similar to the lantern festivals you’d see in Asia).

By all accounts, there are a couple of great shows to see at the Global Winter Wonderland.

I was lucky enough to catch the Motorcycle Show (below).

Final Thoughts: Visiting The Global Winter Wonderland (Las Vegas, NV)

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought my tickets. Turns out, I was really pleasantly surprised.

There were a lot of things to see and do, there was also a lot of walking involved – but that was a good thing! Most of the exhibits were really impressive (Africa, Taj Mahal, China, Egypt), heck, even the underwhelming stuff was still awesome.

I ended up taking my niece to this, and she loved it. In fact, almost everybody I saw (of all ages) was having a great time (myself included).

If you are looking for something different to do in Vegas, this show is totally worth checking out – especially with the family. You’ll have to hurry as the Global Winter Wonderland is only there until January 20, 2019.

Cheers!
