Stocked up on last-minute gifts (and Grand Royal Black whisky) from the duty-free story across the way, we made our final stop in Yangon at the Priority Pass-friendly Mingalar Sky Lounge.

The lounge was located inside of security on the second floor (across from the gift shop).

Once inside, we were immediately taken aback by the size of the space – and the emptiness of it.

It was clean, well organized, and well staffed with plenty of varied spaces for relaxation, privacy, and business.

The Bottom-Line Review: Mingalar Sky Lounge – Terminal 1 International, RGN Airport (Yangon, Myanmar)

Really, what is not to love about the Mingalar Sky Lounge?

It was large with plenty of spaces, the bar was gigantic with a wide selection of mid-shelf alcohols, the food spread was huge and decent, and it had lovely artwork and a great view of the runway. And oh yeah, they really know how to make stiff bourbon and cokes.

This being a Priority Pass lounge, I’m not sure why it was so empty. I couldn’t help but feel we happened upon one of RGN’s best-kept secrets.

Highly Recommended!

Cheers!
