We stayed in the very cozy Urban Suite, which provided a huge space and comfortable environment. The suite featured modern furnishings, a dining table & seating area, and large windows that offered direct views of the train station.

Breakfast At Citizen Rail
The complimentary IHG Diamond breakfast at the Kimpton Hotel Born was a delightful experience at Citizen Rail, the hotel’s main restaurant.
The breakfast menu featured a variety of options, ranging from traditional American classics to innovative dishes with a twist. We enjoyed the Poached Eggs + Greens (think deconstructed avocado toast), and the All- American. Both were excellent. But the star of the show was the aptly-named “Questionable Decisions” (a mezcal based drink) which went down way too easy that early in the morning.

Our stay at the Kimpton Hotel Born in Denver, Colorado, was excellent overall. In fact, this is probably my personal favorite Kimpton that I’ve stayed at so far.
The Urban Suite upgrade was awesome and it provided a warm, cozy, and spacious retreat, complete with modern furnishings and not-too-shabby view of the train station. The delicious breakfast at the Citizen Rail restaurant was so excellent in fact that i had no regrets ordering mezcal at breakfast.
The hotel’s prime location in downtown Denver (next to the train station) allowed for easy exploration of the city’s downtown and easy access to further destinations.
Moreover, the Kimpton Hotel Born exuded a “coolness factor” that set it apart from other hotels. The contemporary artsy designs infused with rustic charm created a unique and inviting atmosphere throughout the property.
Taking all these factors into account, we rate our experience at the Kimpton Hotel Born a solid 9 out of 10. We highly recommend the Kimpton Hotel Born to business travelers, tourists to Denver, families, and couples – really anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation in the heart of Denver.
