The following is my review of the Regency Club lounge at the Hyatt Regency Yogykarta.

Note: I didn’t know it at the time of booking, but World of Hyatt Explorist members [and above] are invited to check-in at the Regency Club in at the Hyatt Regency Yogykarta (however, one would need to book a club room or have club passes to access the Club itself).

Review: Hyatt Regency Club Lounge, Hyatt Regency Yogykarta (Yogykarta, Indonesia)

After check-in, I dropped off my bags in my room and immediately returned to the Regency Club for some coffee and a light lunch.

The lounge had a fully functioning coffee machine, however, the staff insisted on making each drink I ordered themselves.  I’m of course used to self-serve, but I wasn’t complaining as the drinks were delicious and the service was wonderful.

The Welcome Drink

The Regency Club Space

The layout of the Club was simple and ample. Although the Club would get quite busy for dinner, there was never a shortage of seating or tables.

The Club Lounge Spread

Food-wise, this Club lounge was great. They had a delectable selection of Indonesian food stuffs and they were delicious (I much preferred the local food to the Western fare).

Aside from the made-to-order items from the chef station, there was also a fine selection of finger-foods including sandwiches, lunch meats, cheeses, salads, quick-bites, and various desserts.

Dinner Offerings

If you were hoping to eat a nice little dinner here, rest assured, the food here is hot and hearty and substantial enough to fill you up.

The Drink List(s)

The place where this particular Regency Club really shines is with the [alcoholic] drinks.

There are actually two drink lists here with plenty of items to choose from. And, yes, they make ’em stiff.

Wine, Beer, and Refreshments

Cocktails and Mocktails

The Alcoholic Drinks

Whisky Dry

The Bottom-Line Review: Hyatt Regency Club Lounge, Hyatt Regency Yogykarta (Yogykarta, Indonesia)

I have nothing but positive things to say about this Regency Club. The service was signature apex Indonesian hospitality.

The food served here was among the best I’ve ever had in a Club lounge, and the drink list was an alcoholic’s dream. Did I mention they make ’em stiff?

This is a perfect lounge to use a Club pass on – as the breakfast, lunch, and dinner definitely did not disappoint.

Cheers!
