This Andaz featured the high-end Malie toiletry products (which smell great BTW).

Club Lounge

There was a lounge on our floor – but it was basically a quiet room with a computer and no food or snacks. I never once saw anybody in here, which I’m guessing is the point.

THE FHOP BOTTOM-LINE 10 RATINGS: Review: Andaz Maui At Wailea Resort

The Bottom-Line Review: Positives & Negatives

The Bottom-Line Review: Andaz Maui At Wailea Resort

We really liked our stay the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. It had a secluded location in the wonderfully posh Wailea area on the south side of this island.  The tiered infinity pools were the standout feature, cascading beautifully down toward the ocean and offering excellent views. Unsurprisingly, we spent most of our time there. We of course enjoyed the excellent and expansive Globalist Breakfast buffet at Ka’ana service and the complimentary items from the Andaz minibar.  Overall the resort was very clean and the service was great.

One of the more puzzling aspects of the resort was the club lounge, which lacked amenities and felt underwhelming compared to the rest of the property. Additionally, while our Andaz Suite offered spacious and well-appointed accommodations, we had almost zero view (other than a wall) which meant we didn’t want to spend anytime on the sizable lanai.

Overall, the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort earned a solid 9 out of 10 for its overall awesome Andaz experience. The combination of luxurious pools, excellent dining, and a pristine environment made it a top-tier resort stay. The resort was modern, upscale, relaxing, and fun – and it definitely skewed on the younger professional side. For those seeking a refined and relaxing getaway in Maui, the Andaz Maui remains a fantastic choice and we can easily recommend it to couples, singles, and friends (although it may not be the best choice on Maui for families with young kids).

FINAL RATING: 9 out of 10
